Met Column Duffle
The massive section of a column (ca. 300 BCE) from the Greek Temple of Artemis at Sardis is transformed into a Sprayground duffle bag. The column has been turned on its side and adapts the delicate foliate carvings on its capital—a unique characteristic among extant capitals from the temple. Though the original column once towered at over 58 feet high, its capital is slightly smaller than others found at the site.
